Namibia strahlt eine ganz spezielle Faszination aus: die Landschaften sind oft unwirtlich und scheinen lebensfeindlich, doch zieht uns das Land mit der Vielfalt von warmen Farben und anziehenden Formen, weiten Ebenen und endlosen, vielfältigen Wüsten, windgeprägten Dünen, tiefen Schluchten und – nach viel Regen - blauen Flüssen, in seinen Bann. Die Tierwelt finden wir dagegen fast nur in der Etoshapfanne und im Caprivistreifen.
Namibia exudes a very special fascination: the landscapes are often inhospitable and seem hostile to life, yet the country captivates us with its variety of warm colours and attractive shapes, vast plains and endless, diverse deserts, wind-blown dunes, deep gorges and - after much rain - blue rivers. Wildlife, on the other hand, is found almost exclusively in the Etosha Pan and the Caprivi Strip.
